ABOUT THE COMPANY:  

Our client is a Vancouver luxury real estate firm based in the heart of downtown. They pride themselves on being a dynamic, diverse and innovative company. This client is responsible for leading several real estate projects across the city including leasing, sales, marketing and real estate investment,

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be overseeing and leading various administrative projects to ensure the smooth day-to-day office operations.   If you have a key eye for accuracy, are flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and pride yourself on being extremely organized, this may be the right fit for you. There are growth opportunities within an HR capacity as this is a growing company for the right candidate depending on his/her skillsets, ability and area of interest.

  • Answering phone calls, directing calls and taking messages
  • Managing incoming mail, courier and faxes
  • Monitoring office and kitchen supply and inventory
  • Opening/closing files and maintaining an organized filing system
  • Lifting required of up to 50 lbs  
  • Keeping common areas, kitchen, reception, and board rooms tidy and presentable
  • Support with organizing catering for meetings as needed
  • Creating and maintaining master spreadsheet lists and calendars
  • Creation of business documents, templates etc.
  • Creation and maintenance of card access to building for staff

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Minimum 1 year of office administration experience
  • Class 5 drivers licence a strong asset as some travel is required
  • Mobile and able to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably  
  • Fluent in English communication – both written and verbal
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook  
  • Minimum completion of High School diploma with qualifications in office administration a strong asset
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and have strong attention to detail
