Are you an experienced site superintendent who wants to be in the Interior of BC for the summer? This 10 on 4 off rotation might be just what you’re looking for if you enjoy a little dry heat!

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

This organization has been in the business for well over 20 years. They pride themselves on having a great team environment, honesty, and strong moral principles. They value their staff, safety is a huge priority, and their attention to detail and quality onsite is incomparable. Most individuals hired stay on long term which speaks volumes about their low employee turnover. While they have diverse offerings in the world of construction, this role would sit on the civil side of the business.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

With multiple projects on the go in BC’s beautiful Interior, you could be doing a variety of projects, from manning a crew for a tailings processing plant, or overseeing a massive reservoir. The company has endless projects in the proverbial pipeline, and career longevity is guaranteed.

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will be tasked with managing crews and pushing jobs to meet deadlines on production. You will plan jobs and follow them through to completion while maintaining safety and deadlines. You will manage multiple operators following out site support. Your leadership skills will shine as you get projects done, one at a time. You’ll have the company’s interests first and foremost on your agenda.

THE REQUIREMENTS

You’ll be a tenured site superintendent who has rolled up his sleeves to get things done on your previous projects. You’ll have worked on heavy civil jobs, in particular earth movement. You’ll be an avid communicator, making sure your crew knows what the job is and are safe doing it at all times. You’ll be able to read and understand project drawings and design specifications, as well as schedules and contract details. You’ll have an impressive list of projects where you have led teams of foremen, HEOs, and other crew members.

COMPENSATION

On offer is a salary of around $150,000, extended health benefits, LOA, company vehicle, and a nice little bonus to sweeten the pot.
