The position would be ideal for a junior to intermediate legal administrative assistant with a solid foundation in commercial litigation who is looking for a fixed term contract role as the role is a maternity leave cover.



Your duties include, but are not limited to:  

  • Maintaining an efficient bring forward system
  • All administrative duties including scheduling meetings, calendar management, opening and closing files, preparing expense reports, and conflict searches
  • Prepare engagement letters and routine correspondence
  • Maintain all physical and electronic filing
  • Liaise with billing coordinators for monthly production of accounts
  • Provide backup coverage in the absence of other assistants or team members
  • All other duties as assigned


  • 2 – 3+ of experience with litigation, ideally in large firm setting
  • LAA Certificate
  • Strong understanding of legal and business terminology
  • Proficient with iManage, 3E, DocuSign, and MS Office
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive
  • Highly organized and excellent attention to detail in conjugation with strong communication skills


  • $50,000 – $70,000 depending on experience
