We are hiring an Office Manager for our Law Firm client in Downtown Toronto.

The Office Manager is an exciting role that will encompass administration, accounting, event planning and offers a wide variety of daily tasks, you won't be bored! The Office Manager reports to the COO and supports a variety of business areas. This will include human resources – performance management, coaching and training, and supporting accounting functions such as payroll, billing, collections, and compliance. The Office Manager is also responsible for event planning and facilities. Prior experience in an Office Manager role in a law firm is required. Human Resources: hires, trains, coaches and manages performance.
Facility and vendor management.
Event planning.
Supports accounting functions: billing, invoicing, payroll, payables, and collections.
Contributes to strategic planning and business development.
Client services support.
Provides leadership, mentorship, and coaching.
Manages day to day office operations.  



Post secondary degree or diploma.
5+ years of experience in an Office Manager leadership role in a law firm.
Prior experience in a law firm is desired; a background in professional services will also be considered.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience supporting accounting.
Prior experience managing team performance.
Experience hiring, onboarding, and acting as the main point of contact for new employees.

Basic accounting skills, experience with billing and collections is desired.

Excellent communication skills, must be client focused.  

Flexibility to adapt as the role becomes more defined.

Annual salary up to $100,000 depending on experience. Competitive benefits, generous vacation, and excellent wellness program. Summer hours, and early long weekends.
