Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, your role as Operations Manager will be multifaceted. Day to day, you will be supervising a team of six Building Operators and will have direct input into the development of this dynamic team. You will manage all aspects of building operations including service agreements, as well as relationships with contractors/contracting companies. On the construction side, managing the tenant and construction process from an owner’s perspective will be an important part of your role, alongside attending the various construction meetings and offering your expertise. Large construction and renovation projects will be under your remit, in addition to budgeting for these capital projects. There will also be occasional projects surrounding energy efficiency in which you will play a key part.

– 5+ years in Building Operations/Facilities Management with 3+ at the – management level
– Previous experience managing a team of 4+ employees.
– A background in commercial office buildings
– Experience with large projects (new development an asset)
– 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate or above
