You will be part of a cross-collaborative team and will have the opportunity to work on a number of Human Resources projects. As the People & Culture Specialist, some of your duties will include:  

  • Internal recruitment including job postings, screening applicants, and selection
  • Conduct internal candidate background checks, reference checks, and administer skill testing
  • Participate in recruitment and campus recruitment
  • Conduct new hire policies & HRIS training
  • Develop initiatives to fostering a strong and functional company culture and support in the implementation of employee engagement initiatives & programs
  • Participate in the planning and execution of internal company events
  • Manage HRIS including creating accounts, trouble shooting, and providing internal support
  • Draft HR documentation


You can expect to earn a salary of $55,000 – $60,000 + an annual bonus. Other perks of working with us include:

  • Minimum one (1) year of recruitment experience
  • Minimum two (2) years working in a similar or equivalent HR desk
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, specializing in Human Resources
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize various projects
  • Strong ability to problem solve
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; you are well-intentioned, thoughtful and a team player.
