Join this sociable and entrepreneurial team if you are interested in in growing with the business and taking on further responsibility (and pay!) as you progress. Your portfolio will consist of managing 11 buildings (roughly 600 units) including high rise and you will also gain exposure to some sectioned properties.
As the company continues to grow, the successful candidate will be provided greater responsibility in managing a growing number of buildings and projects. The more buildings or projects you take on, the better the commission and therefore financial reward. As a smaller business, you will have more sway over your portfolio and progression within the company.
This well established, entrepreneurial, and family operated real estate corporation has been around for over 40 years. They have become an expert within the local real estate community and have expanded operations over time due to their success. Today the company is considered one of the leading real estate and property management firms serving the Greater Vancouver area. The office also occupies a great city location with onsite parking facilities.
As Strata Manager, you will be responsible for the management of 11 buildings across your portfolio. This will include two high rise buildings and some low rise. The best part about this role is the fantastic portfolio and the opportunity to work with newer buildings. It will be roughly 2 meetings per week and day to day you will be responsible for attending to your portfolio, liaising with the relevant individuals, managing subcontractors and performing Project Management as needed. You will be an independent doer who can deal with onsite issues as they arise and react accordingly. Being responsive and having a sense of urgency are important as this business likes to provide great customer service. Your responsibilities will also include communicating and corresponding with the owners in addition to writing minutes, agendas and creating budgets.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
-Compensation of $60,000 to $80,000 (dependent upon experience/portfolio)
-3 weeks of paid vacation
-Will pay for license renewals and transfers

-Car allowance or mileage
-Paramedicals (Chiro etc)
-1-3 years of Strata Management experience
-Administrative and good organisation skills – Microsoft Office Suite
