We have the pleasure of working for the Technology Group of a leading national law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor to join a busy team and start to build a technology focused practice.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Considered to be a leader in technology law the team works with the most exciting and innovative companies providing advice on complex large-scale technology projects across the globe. In addition to interesting work the group is tight-knit, collegial, and has very little turn-over.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The lawyer in this position will work with private and public companies leading M&A deals, financings, licensing transactions and when necessary taking their technology clients public. Ownership over files and client facing responsibilities will be given early on and you will receive clearly defined mentorship and professional development.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- 1 to 6 years experience as a solicitor
- Excellent academics from top-tier university
- Genuine interest in technology
- Member of the Law Society of British Columbia, or eligible to be called to the BC Bar
COMPENSATION
- Market leading salary
- Law society fees covered

- 3/4 weeks vacation
