Vancouver, BC, August 25, 2022 – As high demand for talent continues, property management companies of all sizes are having to realign compensation packages to match market expectations. Base salaries have seen an increase of between 5-15% in 2022, with entry- to mid-level roles experiencing the most notable rise.
Alongside larger salaries, annual bonuses have also increased, and additional perks and benefits such as mileage and car allowances are also seen as an attractive incentive for those who travel frequently for work.
41% of candidates said they would negotiate their stay with their current employer to secure a raise or promotion in a recent poll conducted by Impact Recruitment. When asked what influenced their decision to join their current employer, 28% of respondents indicated excellent pay, perks and benefits as the deciding factor.
In addition to salary and monetary perks, hybrid working arrangements have also become a key consideration for many looking to make a career move. The property management industry is slowing becoming more open to the idea, for roles where hybrid or remote work is possible.
