FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Have questions about working with Impact? Most of the answers you need should be below. If you don’t find what you are looking for, simply give us a call or ask one of our Business Developers!
What are the benefits of working with Impact Recruitment?
There can be a tremendous opportunity cost (the cost of not doing alternatives) in a self-directed hiring process. Many of our clients are experts in their field – lawyers, accountants, and so on. As experts, they recognize that certain tasks are better done by specialists in their field. When they choose to do the hiring themselves, they sometimes step outside of their area of expertise.
This often results in a laborious process, with a high learning cost for them, as well as a poor candidate experience. Important details can be missed. Candidates often see the job from a very technical point of view, rather than a view from a recruitment specialist who will evangelize both the opportunity and the organization.
The opportunity cost comes in because while they are learning the hiring process through trial and error, they aren’t doing what they do best, at great cost to themselves.
That’s why professional recruiters continue to exist and thrive in our economy. They are specialists who are experts at sourcing talent and promoting opportunities and organizations. We are intimately familiar with the steps and details of the process and can offer a standardized experience that is thorough, predictable and offers client and candidate alike a higher probability of long-term success.
Professional recruiters also have access to expensive resources that clients are sometimes not familiar with or adept at using – LinkedIn, Indeed, carefully-crafted job postings, etc. Not only are they able to leverage our expertise but also our buying power on resources they often waste money on themselves.

Will working with Impact Recruitment save me time?
Recruiting is a time-consuming process, from posting jobs to reviewing resumes and conducting interviews. By handling most of this process and having a pool of candidates that are already interviewed, we can help save you time and hire quicker.
Am I bound by any terms to only use Impact for my hiring?
Impact Recruitment’s services are totally-non exclusive. We welcome the opportunity to compete directly with other search firms, demonstrate why we’re better and why a long-term partnership with Impact is worthwhile. We also respect that our clients often attract talent on their own and have capable HR teams. We will never seek a fee for a candidate we didn’t represent and, in many cases, can offer valuable advice to our partners as a value add. We’re interested in working with long-term, repeat clients and are eager to go the extra mile to earn your trust.
Will I deal with more than one person throughout the process?
You will likely speak to at least two people throughout the process – typically one Business Developer who is managing your roles and gets to know your company inside out, as well as a Recruitment Specialist who is searching, vetting, and presenting candidates.
In the future, you may hear from a number of our team members. Each one has your interests at heart and values you as a part of our network.
