Michael Scott
Vice President, Building Division
Michael Scott is a Vancouver-based recruitment professional with over two decades of experience in Canada and Australia. With proven success in both agency and internal recruitment, Michael joined Impact Recruitment in 2012. Bringing with him an extensive network of professional contacts and a vast knowledge of the recruitment industry, Michael played an integral role in establishing the company’s building and construction groups, which expanded into the property industry in 2013.
In the years following, Michael has fostered relationships with top organizations and associations, including VRCA, UDI, ICBA, PAMA, BOMA, HAVAN and the BCIT School of Construction and the Environment.
As Vice President of Building Division, Michael is a coach and mentor to a group of recruiters and business developers specializing in construction and development, construction subtrades and property, building and facilities management. Michael’s commitment to developing Impact Recruitment’s Building Division has resulted in long-term client relationships with leading organizations in the construction, development, and property management industries at the regional, national, and multinational levels.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting, Finance and Business Management (Western Sydney University) and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Western Sydney University).

Mark Fedyshen
Practice Lead, Construction + Development
After earning a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Victoria, Mark Fedyshen spent four years working in mechanical contracting, starting his career as a project coordinator before moving into a project management role.
Joining Impact Recruitment in 2015, Mark’s experience in the construction and development industry in Vancouver gave him an edge over the competition. Over the past five years, Mark has been an integral part of the Building Division’s growth and success.
In his current role as Practice Lead, Mark manages and mentors a team of recruiters (specializing in construction subtrades and site management) while continuing to source top quality candidates for his clients.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (University of Victoria).

Ash Holmes
Practice Lead, Construction + Development
Joining Impact in 2018 as a Recruitment Specialist, Ash Holmes’ drive and focus were clear from the start. These qualities, paired with his extensive agency recruitment experience, lead Ash to his current position as Practice Lead, where he works with real estate developers and construction management clients.
With an impressive background and broad market knowledge, Ash successfully manages both a team of recruiters as well as an extensive network of leading organizations, assisting them in hiring and on-boarding top talent to support their continued growth.
Ash holds a Diploma in Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing).

Chris Chen
Strategic Account Manager, Property Management
Understanding that every business is unique, Chris Chen values the relationships he builds with his clients and is dedicated to truly understanding their corporate cultures and individual hiring needs. Dominic Howard
Senior Recruitment Specialist, Construction + Subtrades
Having begun his professional career as a project coordinator, working with a general contractor in Birmingham, Dominic Howard’s transition into construction recruitment occurred quite naturally. After spending two years as a labour manager with a trades and labour recruitment agency overseas, Dominic moved to Vancouver in 2019 looking for a new opportunity.
Dominic’s experience and depth of industry knowledge give him an edge over his competition. Truly understanding his clients’ day-to-day operations, as well as their corporate cultures, Dominic successfully matches skilled construction and subtrades professionals with growing organizations.
Dominic holds a Bachelor of History (Bangor University).

Kieran Ryder

Kieran Ryder began his professional career as a property manager before transitioning into agency recruitment. George Gao

Originally from England, Rebecca Ingrouille moved to Canada in 2013 to attend the University of British Columbia. Rebecca currently focuses on recruiting for health and safety, deficiency, and civil foremen roles.
