As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will work in insurance defense supporting 2-3 lawyers, and will report to the Manager of Litigation Administration. The ideal candidate will be professional, hard-working, and eager to learn. The LAA will be responsible for the following tasks:

– Preparing and filing court documents with the Supreme, Federal & Provincial courts

– Organizing case files and calendar – scheduling court dates and appointments

– Following all file creation, labeling, filing, and closing procedures

– Maintaining an organized, efficient, and up-to-date file management and bring forward system

– Administrative duties

– Legal Administrative Assistant certificate

– 1+ years working as an LAA

– Minimum 55wpm typing speed

– Excellent oral and written communication skills


– $45,000 – $50,000 per annum (based on experience)

– 3 weeks vacation, 16 extra days off (1 day earned every 3 weeks)
